On completion of his MBBS from Burdwan Medical College & Hospital, Dr Sabyasachi Basu joined Nilratan Sircar Medical College & Hospital, Kolkata as postgraduate trainee in General Surgery under Dr Tarun Chattopadhyay and Dr Sanjay Maitra in 2014. He was trained proficiently in laparoscopic surgeries here and after completing his masters, he started practicing in different hospitals in Kolkata and Howrah. After a brief stint in M R Bangur Hospital and Apollo Multispecialty Hospital, he appeared for NEET SS where he secured AIR 28 and moved to Mumbai to pursue Plastic, Aesthetic & Reconstructive Surgery.
